Diet Healers (“we”, “our”, “the practice”) is a nutrition-consulting practice based in Ludhiana, Punjab, operated by Dt. Bhawna Bhakoo. This page explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it. We aim to be clear and plain — no legal jargon.

From the enquiry form

When you submit a consultation enquiry on our website we collect:

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to set up your profile in our practice records.

From clients of the practice

For clients we see in consultation, we maintain practice records that may include health history, weight measurements, dietary plans, and disease information. These records are entered into a password-protected, access-controlled practice-management system and are never shared with third parties except where required by law.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries and book consultations
• To prepare and deliver personalised diet plans
• To track your progress over time at your request
• To contact you for follow-up appointments or plan updates

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties for their own commercial purposes.

3. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers (hosted in India where possible). Access to the practice-management system is restricted to authorised practice staff only and is protected by strong passwords and encrypted connections (HTTPS).

No data security system is perfect. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at diet@diethealers.com.

4. How long we keep your data

Enquiry records are kept for up to 12 months after last contact. Active client records are retained for as long as you are a client of the practice and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return. You may request deletion at any time (see below).

5. Your rights (India DPDP Act, 2023)

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and our commitment to responsible data handling, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data, subject to any legal obligation we have to retain it.
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us; we will respond within a reasonable time.
